Carrie Graham is Director of the George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History at College of the Atlantic and a member of the teaching staff in entomology and natural history illustration. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Graham earned a BS in natural resources from the University of Michigan and an MS in entomology from the University of Maine. Her graduate research examined pathogen-inhibiting behaviors of the invasive European fire ant, Myrmica rubra, along the Maine coast.

At COA, Graham teaches courses including Introductory Entomology, Tropical Entomology, Zoological Field Sketching, and The Art and Practice of the Natural History Field Journal, blending close scientific observation with artistic practice. In addition to her teaching and museum work, she has completed freelance illustration and exhibit fabrication projects for a variety of organizations and institutions. Her work reflects a deep interest in natural history, visual storytelling, and the role of museums in connecting people to the living world.
