Sue Stuart-Smith is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and author of The Well Gardened Mind, a Sunday Times bestseller translated into 18 languages. After earning a degree in English literature at Cambridge University, she trained as a physician and served as lead clinician for psychotherapy in Hertfordshire. She now works with DocHealth, supporting doctors facing stress and burnout. Sue co-founded the Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creativity, and Health with her husband, Tom Stuart-Smith. Based in a restored orchard, the project offers a unique Plant Library and programming to support local schools and community organizations.
