Karin Tilberg
Conservationist
Karin Tilberg is a conservationist and environmental policy leader with decades of service to Maine’s natural resources. She began her career as an attorney and later served as Director of Advocacy for Maine Audubon. Karin was Director of the Northern Forest Alliance and Deputy Commissioner of the Maine Department of Conservation. From 2007 to 2010, she advised Governor John Baldacci on environmental, energy, and natural resource policy. Most recently, she served as President and CEO of the Forest Society of Maine, retiring in 2024. Her career reflects a deep commitment to the health of Maine’s forests and communities.
