Patrick Radden Keefe is a staff writer at The New Yorker and the author of five nonfiction books, including the New York Times bestsellers Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland (Doubleday, 2019), Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty (Doubleday, 2021), and Rogues: True Stories of Grifters, Killers, Rebels, and Crooks (Doubleday, 2022). His work has received the National Book Critics Circle Award, a National Magazine Award, and the Orwell Prize for Political Writing.

Say Nothing, which The New York Times named one of the 20 Best Books of the 21st Century, was recently adapted into an award-winning Hulu series, for which Keefe served as an executive producer. He is also the creator and host of the podcast Wind of Change, about the strange convergence of Cold War espionage and heavy metal music.
