Daniel Zalewski [pronounced: Za-LES-key] is the features director of The New Yorker. He edits many of the magazine’s staff writers, including Jane Mayer, Patrick Radden Keefe, David Grann, Rebecca Mead, and Lawrence Wright. Previously, he was an editor at The New York Times Magazine and Lingua Franca. At The New Yorker, he has published profiles of such figures as Ian McEwan, Guillermo del Toro, and Werner Herzog, and he has written about topics ranging from amnesia to art restoration.
