Join fellow alumni for a cruise aboard the M/V Osprey through Frenchman Bay to Mount Desert Rock, one of COA’s iconic field research sites. Enjoy time on the water, take in the coastal scenery, and reconnect with the landscapes that have long shaped the College’s field-based learning experience.

The trip includes approximately one and a half hour of travel each way, a short landing period, and about one and a half hours ashore on the island. Participants are encouraged to bring their own picnic lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.

There is no age restriction for this activity; however, for capacity purposes, children count as adults.

Due to limited capacity and strong interest, participants may register for only one island boat trip during Alumni Weekend.
